I've been in and out of this district but some satisfaction is not given. Was a mess last school year due to construction amidst the school in the middle of the year. Very hectic at times - teachers are a bit average, but overall can help. Administration has major issues.

Overall, my experience at MV is not an experience I regret by any means. I loved high school. My school was small enough for me to be involved in essentially everything while putting my education first. All of my teachers did everything they could to support my education and success, and they all cared.
Most areas of the school were great. it is a small school, so it was a little hard to get all the classes that were needed done at Maquoketa Valley. I ended up taking classes through Kirkwood and NICC instead.
