A classic small school experience, the teachers are a toss-up of passionate educators and those looking to simply put the minimum effort needed forward. The students also tend to range from some of the nicest and funniest people you will spend time with, and others are 'inconsiderate' at best. Compared to other small schools, it ranks a little bit higher than the others. Also a shoutout to the lunch crew, the lunches are always full of variety and choices that actually taste GOOD!
Personally, I loved my time at Maplewood Junior/Senior High School because it was small in size. By the time of graduation, it feels like your classmates are your family. This school does have its flaws though. The academics are sub-par due to a lack of technological advancements. I never realized what we lacked until college where other students told me about their high school experiences.
I had good opportunity to take college classes while still in high school. The school could use some upgrades, but overall, it is fine. I had no problems while attending.
