Maple Mountain High School Reviews
Rating 4.1 out of 5 460 reviews
I really like how willing most of the teachers are to help you out. All you need to do is reach out and ask for it! The students are very accepting and it isn't hard to find friends as long as you're willing to reach out to other people. The counselors' goals are focused on helping you earn all the things you need to graduate. There have been a couple times when students have lost family members or received negatively life-change news and the entire school is there in support. The school feels very safe, and there's always someone who cares about your well-being. There is a large variety of teachers with different teaching styles, so if one doesn't work great for you you can switch to another.
As a new student at a brand new, fresh high school, fear is implanted. However, through the welcoming environment felt throughout the walls of Maple Mountain high school, a sense of belonging is achieved. The educated teachers and excellent students make for success and achievement, personal and as a team. The kind hearts of those throughout the school cause a sense of love and self-confidence, as those around lift each other to ones' full potential. The vibrant feeling of warmth and kindness felt among the attendees helps those around you to look out for one another, and feel a sense of unity and belonging no matter the circumstance.
It's a pretty good school, but there aren't a lot of opportunities for advanced classes. If you are college bound, there are beginning level classes, but for STEM majors, there aren't any opportunities for classes that actually give you the credit you need. There's also a stereotype at Maple Mountain for wealth, which can be really overwhelming.
