My overall first year experience, at Mansfield Timberview HS was average. Nothing significant, or special, I guess I would say it was regular. This is coming from someone whose in AVID, and plays multiple sports. Following what I said about my experience, there were only a few things that I liked about Timberview, for example the people you meet, the school is diverse enough, to where you get to meet people of different races, and learn about different culture. To me connecting with someone, and getting to know them on a deeper level is really important. Despite that, they’re many things I would like to see changed at Timberview, for example, the fact that no one participates In the clubs, assembly’s, or even our HOG week. The administration try’s, but it's really up to the students. It's kinda sad seeing other schools painting their bellies, or showing up with their face dripped in paint for a sports game, while our school won't wear a simple pink shirt for breast cancer week.

I really enjoy attending Mansfield Timberview because they provide you all the necessary resources that allows a student to get quality education. The school also are dedicated to the extracurricular activities that are offered with various activities that suits each and every student's interests. Although some teachers underperform, most teachers are caring and devoted to their teachings. In addition, I would also likes to see more counseling help for students preparing for their college academics and students struggling with mental issues or bullying.
Overall a very good school to go to! Most of the teachers are very involved and supportive of the students. The school also provides a safe and uplifting environment for the students to enjoy. However, college readiness could be more enforced and the school could've provided more emphasis on academics.
