I’m a 2019 Mansfield Senior High School graduate. In my opinion it wasn’t a bad school, we just were known more for the negative over the positive. We lacked very little school pride due to all the negativity surrounding us and our city and struggled a lot academically as a whole. I’d say our sports, clubs, and music department is where we strived the most. Hopefully since they’ve received a new superintendent and principal more good things will come out of MSHS.

Senior High is overall a very good school. Of course every school has their issues so no, it wasn't perfect but it made every moment of my high school years very memorable.
The teachers at Mansfield Senior are amazing. They always try their hardest to make sure we succeed in everything we do. They're very generous and willing to give more time for work, extra help if needed, and extra credit to make sure grades stay up.
My personal experience with this is is amazing. I've never been in any trouble so I haven't had to be disciplined; that could be part of the reason why I love this school so much. They have lots of clubs and after school activities to offer which was a bonus for me. I was involved in many clubs ranging from student council to National Honor Society. The sports weren't that great but the players were very dedicated which made it an amazing journey.
What i like about Mansfield Senior High is the career opportunities they offer to students to get an experience of what they will be learning in college. To me the best career class in this school would be Health Technology because it's a huge step for the students as they get their First Aid license as juniors and as a senior take the state test in order to get their STNA license. Once they have their license they can leave school early and start working at hospitals, and nursing homes. The help from teachers, counselors, and staff to help students become successful in the future. Something else that became interesting to me about this school are the sports. The teams of each sport are great, they work really hard and it's another way for students to continue on in their future playing their favorite sport. These are some ways or options as to what i like about Mansfield Senior High Schools because they have good opportunities here.
