There are many times where I regret coming to this school because it's a project based learning school, but overall I think I grew not as a person, but as a titan. Things definitely got harder in my junior year because a lot of the teachers left and we were left with new teachers or temporary teachers. Some of these teachers were not respected at all because of how bad they were at teaching and some were very harsh graders. There were also many strict rules, but once I got past all of those, school was pretty much a breeze. Don't get me wrong though! It was still a stressful year because of all those dual credit enrollments.

Manor New Technology High School is very different from other schools. New Tech makes you feel welcome and loved by teachers, staff and friends. I would consider New Tech as family. It’s a great combination of Social and academic life. This school focuses on teaching their students how to succeed in the real world by presenting them with our 5 learning outcomes. Oral communication, Agency, Collaboration, Knowledge and thinking and Written communication. These learning outcomes help us in understand the content we learn in a more uniqe way. Not only do we use these learning outcomes, we are also a project based learning school, which means we learn by doing projects! Although it might seem more advanced than other schools, it’s really worth the time and effort that you put into your education that will affect your future. New Tech has been a great part of my High School career, it’s helped develop great presentation skills, oral communication and so much more.
Manor New Technology High School is a great school due to the type of based learning it is. This school learns based on presentations which are a key skill to enter college and be confident enough to speak in front of many people. Classroom sizes are great but vary from very large to very small. Access to technology aids us in learning more effectively. Presenting very frequently is a great way to feel more comfortable in speaking in a large crowd. Manor New Technology High School allows you to obtain many opportunities as well. Clubs and classes are a major bonus since it covers multiple majors. Time management is important to have as well and due to many classes, it helps you get work done and turned in on time. The school teaches us about diversity and what we would expect in the real world as well. New Tech prepares us for college and allowing us to be capable on our own. I feel confident enough to enter college because this school teaches like no other.
