I graduated from MLHS last year, class of 2017. I enjoyed this high school overall. Most of the teachers are nice, but some really needed to be replaced. The sport and music has a wide selection. Things do need to change there. The students can be rude and clicky. I was apart of the Youth Apprenticeship program, therefor i worked most of the day. I did make some lifetime friends here but most of the students there tend to be demeaning to others. My siblings do go there and enjoy it because they play sports, meaning they "fit" in better with the crowd. If you are in to music and theater, the teachers "seem" to like you better. I did have some "sticky" situations there, but i would stand up for myself and not take the other students/teachers words. I would suggest going to this school if you like sports, music and are strong in your religion aspects of life.
The faculty at Manitowoc Lutheran take education seriously. Teachers are well equipped and eager to help the students. I feel quite well prepared for college after attending MLHS. A wide variety of extracurricular activities are offered and the music program is extremely strong. Also, the cross country and track coaches are great. The atmosphere is safe and there is daily focus on Christ in chapel and everyday interactions with teachers and many of the other students.
