Manchester Valley High School is great overall, especially academically. However, the school population itself is not the most favorable. Manchester Valley is a school where you can get a proficient in-school and after-school experience overall, but it’s hard to connect to the people and the school itself. School spirit does not exist at Manchester Valley. If you are looking for a great social experience, Manchester Valley is not for you. However, the activities in and out of school are more than favorable, which is why I’ve had good experiences (especially thanks to my teachers and the music/drama department)!

My high school experience is very fun because I am involved in several activities as a part of the school. I play on the volleyball team where I have learned how to work with all different kinds of people and be a part of a team. I am in SGA and NHS which have taught me how to be a better leader and be confident with myself. My classes have been very helpful with planning out my future, as I was able to take several science classes a year. High school has also allowed me to take dual enrollment college classes and to do an internship to help me decide my career path. High school was definitely some of the best years of my life so far and I can’t wait to start my senior year!
The school itself is very nice compared to the rest of the schools in the county. It’s environmental friendly since it’s considered a green school. The overall atmosphere of the school is friendly and safe. The kids are okay but the fights are higher compared to the rest of the county. The most of the teachers dedicate their time into their teaching and they make sure their student strive in their classes. The athletics are great and as an athlete at the school, their fields and gym are very nice. Like all schools, Man Val isn’t perfect but it’s an overall good school.
