I love my school. It's a community that is small and bonded together and people love coming back to it. My parents met, fell in love, and had their kids in Malvern only to send their kids to the same school. It's a place where you can go to the football game on a Friday night and know everyone there and when you go to celebrate the victory at the town restaurants you see everyone that was at the game and you continue to celebrate till the place shuts down. This is with every event in town, not just sports. There are some things that people love to change of course, but overall it's that lovely small town feel.
It was very welcoming and it’s a culture all to itself. When I first arrived I thought I’d be an outsider but it was quite the opposite. The students and teachers were all welcoming and didn’t hold any prejudice. There might not be much diversity but the little there is it’s not immediately clear that they aren’t from here. They are slowly becoming more diverse and everyone is treated equally.
One thing that I absolutely loved about Malvern High School was how caring the teachers are. They really enjoy being one on one with their students and really thrive to teach their students everything they need to know before entering college. Malvern High School prepares their students for the real world by teaching us everyday roles and responsibilities. Malvern High School was truly the best school.
