Malvern High School truly has my heart. My parents and brother graduated from here and so will I this upcoming 2020 school year. This school is more than bricks, plaster, and concrete. It’s love, memories, and joy!
One of my favorite things about the Malvern School District is how diverse the race is. You will find a little bit of everyone here. I love it because no one feels like an outsider. Another thing I love is how good the school is at making sure the community is always involved whether it’s banquets or games they post on their website & social media platforms to keep everyone in the mix.
Overall Malvern High School is great. The one thing I wanted to change was a new school and now they’re building a brand new school so students have more opportunities to learn and grow. They’re goal is making sure all students are college ready. Pride, Passion, and Excellence is the motto and Malvern lives up to that expectation.

If I was to give a list of positives about this school, it definitely wouldn't be about the administration. It would be about the teachers. Unlike most of the administration, it's obvious that the teachers in this school care about the students, their well being, and their future. I've had multiple teachers give me advice about scholarships and the FAFSA, and the counselors have always been extremely helpful when it came to arranging my class schedule or getting me prepared for college. It's not because of the administration, but because of the teachers that I didn't regret going to this school despite it's flaws.
When I attended Malvern High School, I found my love for math. There are some great teachers here, and there are lots of opportunities. There is a good variety of AP courses available, and you can take courses for college credit at our local community college, College of the Ouachitas. Right now, the school is being remodeled because it was getting to be pretty old and gross, but overall Malvern is a pretty good school with some wonderful faculty and lots of opportunities.
