Maine Coast Waldorf School awakens the highest potential within every student by fostering clarity of thought, warmth of heart, and strength of resolve to make a difference in the world. Our approach challenges and supports students as they become their best selves. Our students are multi-talented, active, and encouraged to grow as learners, creators, athletes, and community members. MCWS develops curious, confident students on 87 acres of Maine land and applies the Waldorf pedagogy to education as well as governance, land use, operations, and well-being. Beginning with a strong foundation in the Early Childhood program, MCWS guides students through each phase of their education culminating in a dynamic, rigorous High School experience.
