I am currently a senior at Magnificat High School. Overall, it has been a challenging four years, but every part of it has been helpful in both my own personal growth and my academic growth. I feel very prepared for college and believe that adjusting to it will be no problem. The teachers and administration have always been great and only want the best for us! They are so approachable and ready to help wherever it's needed. The classes I've taken here, in addition to the teachers, have inspired me greatly and have motivated me to make changes in my own life based on what they've taught me. The only thing I would change about my school is to increase its inclusion. It has been getting better, especially during my senior year, but the diversity is lacking some. I hope in the future years after I'm gone it is able to become more inclusive throughout the student body here, because there are truly lots of wonderful people going to this school.

The kind and intelligent staff and overwhelming positive energy displayed by each student shows the worth of the Catholic, all-girls, college-preparatory advantage in the classroom and beyond. I have learned how to be the strongest version of myself, from knowledge of social justice issues and scripture in Theology class, to winning a National Championship title as part of the talented and accredited Magnificat Dance Team, to analyzing camera angles of classic movies in one of my past electives, Literature and Film. Magnificat's Alumni network features women who can be commended for their involvement in an extremely diverse number of occupations and programs. The education that Magnificat provides compels women to make strides and reach for the stars, setting them apart from the norm. Magnificat is truly one of the greatest high schools for girls, instilling necessary values in the student that can be used academically, socially, mentally and spiritually in all forms of life.
As a senior in high school, I have seen the ins and the outs of Magnificat Highschool. One thing I love about Magnificat is that we are one big family. As a school with only 800 in attendence, I can say that I could recognize almost everyone that goes to school with me. We are a very spirited school and love to cheer on our volleyball, basketball and softball team. One special event that is very important in the Magnificat culture is Night in Blue. Night in Blue is a fundraiser that raises money to help pay tuition for girls that want to come to Magnificat. To me, that shows our hard work and love for other girls that want our school's great education. One thing I would like to change about Magnificat is the administration's tolerance with bullying. There has been many cases of bullying that the administration has not handled well, and could've been handled more appropriately.
