This school has given me SO MANY amazing opportunities. Many students have at least one scholarship and I have a couple different scholarships, which helps us with tuition. There are so many clubs and the sports are great. Everyone has so much spirit, even during the pandemic! The teachers are top-notch and always so kind and forgiving. They trust us and often tell us that we are "smart" girls and that we can do whatever we set our minds to. Mrs. Clark knows everyone by name. The students are analogous to a family - we look out for each other, support each other... while there is occasional drama, there is almost never anything major. The students here really know what it means to respect the general dignity of human beings and basically just love others. Overall, I could go on for days about how much this school has built me into a strong, smart, conscious young woman; I feel prepared for college in every aspect of my education and beyond.

My experience at Magnificat High School has been complicated. I started at Magnificat as a sophomore transfer student. I had a difficult time making friends at first, but once I did things improved. I really enjoy being able to practice my faith at my school every day. I love being apart of the campus ministry program. Although, the program could use some improvement. Our classes can be difficult. I find our science department to include the best overall teachers in the school. The English department comes in a close second. The History department has a few teachers that are difficult to work with. The theology department shows favoritism toward different students. Overall, the worst department at Magnificat is the Math department. Despite difficult course work, I enjoy going to school at Magnificat. It has a welcoming environment and shows support to all students.
This school has the lowest diversity rate of any school I've ever been to. If you are a minority, it might be difficult to relate to anyone because the majority are republican white girls and few racists here and there. This school also condones racism. They did not discipline a girl who said the n-word multiple times in a video despite all the outrage the school received from social media. I feel like the majority of the girls do not care about important issues in our world because they are blinded by their white privilege. You would only like this school if you were a straight catholic white girl because you'd fit in just fine. This school also does not have a welcoming environment. The only good thing about it Is the academics, but even then it is still average.
