The teachers are awful at their jobs. They do not make sure that every student is learning, and are quick to become angry when a student is simply not understanding the work. They do not realize that students have different ways of learning, and instead force many students to learn a way that they are unable to. The students are somewhat welcoming but very rebellious and disrespectful. Overall, not the best school to send your child to.

I am an alum of NEHS, and now have my oldest daughter as a student at North. She absolutely loves her experience so far this year as a Highlander. The teachers are amazing, her experience with Athletics an school activities has been equally great. NEHS just finished up its Project Give Community Outreach Project and raised more food for the community than any of the High Schools in the area. I would bet, in the state. It is a school full of compassionate students and teachers that work hard for each other, care about each other, and have high standards.
NEHS works hard to be accepting and aware of all cultures and diverse populations.
