The education I received in Madison K-12 was amazing! There are so many opportunities to get involved and your teachers really want to help you as much as they can. I was very well prepared for tests like the SATs and AP exams as well as for college in general. One thing in particular is the ability to write well, which puts me at an automatic advantage over many of my college peers and I attribute fully to the Madison Public Schools system. I also feel like there are constant improvements being made, such as the recent addition of the STEM building and related classes.
Madison High School is filled with friendly students and teachers who are active and engaged with the environment. The students are hardworking and intelligent and the teachers are great mentors who teach students not only about the class material, but about important life lessons for the future. The teachers are very friendly and have great relationships with the students. They offer after-school help and are always there when you need them. Overall, it is a great school in a great town!
Good school, some weird stuff here and there but that’s public school for ya. Some weird teachers tho…. Madison district isn’t that great at letting go of some teachers that need to go. Foreign language teachers need to be more consistent, there is definitely a lack of substance in that department of the school- kids aren’t absorbing the language as well as they should due to constant teacher changes.
