I went to Madison Academy for 14 years, and I enjoyed every minute! The Administration is always willing to help you learn and grow both as a student and person. They genuinely care about each one of the students! While there are plenty of extracurricular activities, athletics are most notable. The Fine Arts department, though small, is rapidly growing each year, and I'm so proud to have been a part of the Band, Choir, and Theatre. The Christian environment has helped many students, myself included, grow in their spiritual lives. Over the years, I've learned a lot about leadership, teamwork, preparing for the future, and working hard to achieve my goals. As a college preparatory school, Madison Academy goes above and beyond to provide valuable education and various electives to suit anyone's interests. I can personally attest to Madison Academy's success in creating a beneficial and engaging experience for every student.
I'm a current junior and have attended since 3-year-old preschool, and I love it here! MA is my second home, and I have a lot of dear friends here, both students and teachers. The teachers are incredibly kind and always willing to help struggling students. They're very understanding and have helped me throughout many of my classes. No need to be afraid when you need a teacher's help! I've been in the art department since 7th grade. It's relatively small but the teachers and curriculum are fantastic. They encourage you to branch out, try new things, and pursue things that interest you. The spiritual environment is very good too. I feel comfortable saying I've grown much closer to God each and every year. Last thing is college readiness. I am only a junior, but I feel ready. The ACT Prep class helped me to score higher and higher on my ACT tests, and the honors and DE classes give students a good feel of what college will be like. Overall, I rate this school 5/5. Go Mustangs! :D
Overall, I had a really good experience at Madison Academy. The smaller class numbers allow you to develop personal relationships with your teachers, which can be useful if you are ever struggling in a class. At MA, I was encouraged to flourish academically, athletically, and most importantly spiritually. I took difficult courses that prepared me for standardized testing and college courses. All in all, I am very thankful I went to school here!
