Attending MacArthur High School was a benfital experience. Not only did I make lifetime friends, but I was able to extend my knowledge and prepare for college. Most of the teachers were excellent educators, they truly cared about the student and how successful they were throughout the curriculum. I'm glad I was able to attend MacArthur High School, Go Brahmas!
Review MacArthur High School
MacArthur is a diverse school compared to the others in our district. Not only does this come from ethnicity ranging from Caucasian, to African-american, and even including our international students but also with academics and athletics. Although we all may be on different levels for those two categories we all have a way of coming together to represent the blue and white of MacArthur. One change I would like to see would be even more school spirit. We all go to the football games but maybe coming together for a softball game or making posters to celebrate a recent debate team win. No one is hurt from having more support behind them.
My three years at Mac Arthur High School were some of the best years in my young life. The teachers and administration have a nurturing environment that promotes growth and encourages the students to step out of their comfort zone. By encouraging a hands-on learning approach, the fostering school environments challenges the student and provides them the opportunity to apply their lessons to real world problems. It was an enjoyable experience, which has played a crucial part in preparing for the challenges and rigour of the college life.
