Mass Academy is an amazing school! The collaborative environment and assignments that are geared toward challenge and real-world applications make being a student here an inspiring and enjoyable experience. The academics are top-notch and challenging, and everyone will help each other. With the small size of ~ 50 students per grade, you get to know each of the faculty members and your classmates personally. The faculty offer a lot of support with independent projects and the college application process. Senior year at WPI prepares you well for college. Although you are always busy as a junior, most of the projects are truly enjoyable because you get to work in a group, including when designing an app and assistive technology device. There are also great classes in the humanities and language, so students gain skills in math and science as well as writing, English, history, and Spanish/French. I would strongly consider applying here if you are interested in collaboration and challenge!
My experience at Mass Academy has been nothing short of amazing! I have learned so many new topics and skills that I never thought were possible before coming to this great school. I am surrounded by a close-knit community of passionate and intelligent individuals who work together to make the world a better place. I have grown both as a student and a person and made some of the best memories of my entire life. Furthermore, at Mass Academy, you are able to challenge yourself to further your education and set a foundation for your future studies through new opportunities. Overall, coming to Mass Academy has been the best decision I have ever made and I will always cherish my time as a student here.
Coming to Mass Academy was one of the best decisions I have ever made. As a junior, you are enrolled in 6 intensive courses which challenge the way you approach and answer questions. You are not simply learning the content, but learning how to learn. As a senior, I feel well prepared for any challenge I may face in my future. By taking classes at WPI, I have learned how to properly manage my time and succeed in a college environment. Additionally, the students are the most notable part of Mass Academy! I have met some of my closest friends who have supported me through it all over the last two years. I am so thankful for every opportunity that Mass Academy has provided me with and can’t wait to see what is yet to come.
