Lycée Français de New York Reviews
The Lycee succeeds in one thing. Your kids will be bilingual in French and English. As a secondary matter, I imagine that if you want your kids to go to University in France or more broadly in Europe their Baccalaureate is likely more familiar to overseas admissions staff than a traditional US HS degree.
It fails in so many other ways. Basics like creative/technical writing and math are taught in the "French system" which does not translate to practical skills for success in US college admissions or American professional life. The administration is aloof and nonresponsive. Extra-curricular activities (particularly in the arts) are lacking and provided at the whims of faculty.
If you are here from a Francophone country for a few years, send your kids, and they will have an easy transition back. Otherwise, stay away.
