My daughter started LFNY from 1st grade to 9th and became a multicultural and multilingual young adult. LFNY’s school building is one of the best in Manhattan, beautiful and practical. Curriculum has been a hybrid of traditional French and progressive American. Current headmaster has been trying to transform it to more innovative learning place. And amazing college matriculation results! We were very happy about LFNY! One of the best schools in NYC.

Our children have attended the Lycée for over 10 years now. We are thrilled with the incredible exposure they have to so many wonderful interdisciplinary projects, artists in residence, and well-being programs. They are bilingual, international citizens and we are incredibly proud of how cultured they have become. The academic program is intensive and standards are high. The tuition is reasonable relative to other top-notch private Manhattan schools. Facilities are relatively new, with a brand-new wing which includes a maker space. While the school is incredibly diverse in terms of nationalities, they do need to improve racial diversity.
We have two children at the Lycée and it's a wonderful school for us in many ways. The student body is diverse, the teachers are engaging and the parents are involved. In particular, the school integrates the best of French and American educational systems and philosophies and do it very well. In recent years, the Lycée has also become more innovative in terms of project-based learning, social emotional learning, and teaching bi-literacy/language transfer skills.
