We have been at this school for 6 years. We have had some of the best teachers. My kids have felt happy, well cared for, supported, and protected at this school. We recognize the challenges in recent years and felt that this school did the very best to keep kids in school, and do their best to protect and create a healthy environment for the kids.
I would like nothing to change. Honestly, everything was great. The teachers, campus, sports, etc. I would highly recommend this school to anybody. All the staff really seemed to enjoy their jobs.
My daughter was bullied so badly which the school blew it off like no big deal that she tried to hurt herself. This action finally caused me to open my eyes to the fact the office and school officals don't take this seriously and moved her to Imagine Prep in Surprise that has been nothing but amazing. My son who is still at Luke was sent home yesterday for not having his meningitis shot although I let the nude know he had an apt this next Tuesday. When I saw the doctor about this, even he said that was not necessary. No resources were given to me by the nurse on how we can obtain these shots in a quicker manner nor did they even try to keep him in school by having me sign an exemption form for the time being so he didn't miss class. The only reason I am not withdrawaling him at this very moment is because he loves his TEACHERS not the school or the so called unprofessional nurse that obviously has not a care in the world about education.
