Ludlam Elementary School Reviews

I love school! It is a small school where all students are known personally. Teachers pay close attention to the development of children and perform many different tasks throughout the year. My daughter has been happy since the first day she started kindergarten. She is now in second grade and does not change her school for another. I thank the teachers and the administration

This school is a small gem. Very small town feel, student population in the 400-500 range (pK-5), with an semi-structured after school program that let's kids have some free-range time. My daughter brings home snails and other treasures that she "discovers" with her friends. She loves it and she is getting a well-rounded education in a very diverse environment. The school offers gifted beginning in kindergarten, and those kids stay together in a class throughout their 6 years at Ludlam. If the class dynamics work, it's an excellent low-key environment that is still academically challenging. I think they have the balance right here-- and that's hard to achieve. Congratulations to the staff and parents on continually striving for excellence at this neighborhood school.
