Throughout my time at Loyola I felt a strong sense of brotherhood between me and my fellow classmates. This sense of brotherhood made it easier for me to develop my skills needed for life after high school because my peers and I were able to stand side by side and help each other relentlessly with every issue we faced.
Honestly it was great overall. Of course there was still up and down tho, it’s High School at the end of the day. There are downs for every hs experience. But the best experience of a high school is Loyola
As a current senior at Loyola, I am happy to be attending this school. I have witnessed myself grow into a better person both academically and personally thanks to the wonderful support system of faculty, staff, and other students. While the curriculum itself is challenging, teachers and school counselors are willing to help students perform at their greatest potential. On top of this, the school involves itself with the community through the various clubs and extracurricular activities found throughout campus. Joining these helped me meet new people and make lifelong connections along the way, allowing for a very enjoyable and welcoming experience of my stay here.
Though rigorous and challenging as it may have seemed, Loyola has prepared me for college and additionally for my life past it as well.
Very good. Extravagant campus and vibrant environment. Extremely cordial and scrupulous student body.
Loyola provides a plethora of opportunities with experts to guide and instruct students who are interested in each. Whatever you enjoy or hope to pursue, there will always be one of the best to show you the way. Furthermore, if you are unsure about what you want to do, there are constant opportunities and reminders that will guide you.
I loved everything about it from culture, vibe, athletics, and academics. The atmosphere in the classroom is amazing. The teachers are very engaging and it makes you want to learn.
Student Body culture is a great brotherhood. Teachers are very approachable and very focused on student growth. However, it is important to be a self advocate for your studies.
Loyola High School is an exceptional college-preparatory high school that truly supports its students in every way! It offers a rigorous education that will not only prepare you for college, but also for real life. The school produces scholarly men of faith, service and leadership. Its focus on cura personalis is exemplary. Everything about this school is top notch!
I love every thing about this school. I love the environment at the school. I really think that the learning environment is both welcoming and enjoyable. The teachers all teach very well with their experience. Having teachers with experience helps the school succeed.
Known for selling drugs and cocaine horrible manners and disgusting who sells cocaine at a private school?…
Loyola is hands down the best high school in Los Angeles. Academics and teachers are top notch. The boys are thoughtful, confident and respectful. The campus is beautiful and well designed with a combination of modern and classic architecture. The college counselors take the time to understand the boys and help guide them to top colleges and universities. Commitment to service is a core part of the school’s philosophy and all the boys participate. There is a school spirit that you feel on campus and throughout the city and the network of alumni is second to none. If you have a boy, Loyola should be on your list.
One thing I really liked about Loyola High School was the variety of social opportunities. There are countless clubs and activities to get involved in and it would seem impossible to not be interested in anything the school had to offer. The widely accepting social environment also allows for any newcomer to quickly make friends and feel welcome. Another point to make is the determined staff and admin, who commit almost all of their time to make the school a friendly, safe, effective, and adaptive learning environment.
I see Loyola High School of Los Angeles as an excellent college preparatory high school that places a large focus on the student and their betterment as individuals.
Superb college prep and great collegiality among the 4 classes. Seniors were especially protective of and helpful to underclassmen. Most graduates went to 4 year colleges with solid reputations and many were accepted at first rate colleges.
The school offers a remarkably wide variety of elective choices to compliment the traditional basic courses in english, history, math, science, and at least one foreign language.
Athletic offerings are varied and well coached and other extra curricular activities include speech & debate, theatre, music and community service.
Given the fact that Loyola's tuition is 1/2 that of most private schools in the LA metro and that the quality of their educational offerings is fully competitive with the best of them....there is every reason to consider Loyola as a 1st choice among all local high schools.

Best teachers in the world, who use the most innovative learning methods to engage students. Strong participation in school activities, with a great sense of safety and inclusion among student body
The teachers there are excellent, and you can tell that the. administration cares about their students. I wouldn't be happier at any other school.
