I love the extracurricular opportunities at Lower Richland High School. They all have the goal to help the students go beyond the classroom to be academically successful and successfully all around to have great opportunities on your resume. The clubs/organizations that I have and plan to join over the years are track and field, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), Beta club, National Honors Society, Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM), Student Council, Delta Gems, Diamond Dance Team, and the Spanish Club. Great thing about this list is that each of these organizations have helped me grow in some way. I have grown socially, academically, and there are many more organizations not on this list that does the same thing for Lower Richland students. Commitment is high for each organization and each organization strongly believes in community service and giving back!
The thing that I really enjoyed about Lower Richland High School is the different organizations and sports. There’s plenty of organizations you can join and there’s also plenty of sports you can join! One thing that I would like to see change is the parent involvement. Most parents are not involve with there children’s school. I expect to see more of parents being involved.
