Lower Moreland offers students a diverse environment for safe learning with plenty of support. Both of my students have thrived both in the educational aspect and in the social aspect during their time at Lower Moreland. They have been offered challenging and exciting electives along with the opportunity to attend technical school to earn college credits while still in high school. I highly recommend Lower Moreland to all families!
Review Lower Moreland High School
I feel that this is a safe, fun place to learn and interact with students alike. This is a place of comfort and solace that many find to learn what they can and reach their fullest potential in terms of their academic value. I would say the academic competitiveness that exists in this school is abnormally high, where all students strive to be within the top percentage of their class. We are surrounded by hard working students who not only take their academics seriously, but they also play sports, commit to music, find work outside school, and keep their schedule packed in order to ensure high productivity levels.
I started going to Lower Moreland High School in 2013 and I would have to say it has been an amazing 4 . Throughout those four years I have gained a larger understanding about the world and what it has to offer. While I was taking my biology course my sophomore year I found my interest in animals and decided that is what I wanted to major in while I attend college. Teachers and student advisors are always available to help students face any problem they come across. For athletics I thrived on the football field and on the wrestling mat. The coaching staff from both sports have been nothing less than supportive and encouraging to all of their athletes both in and out of the locker rooms. The support the school district receives from the surrounding community is nothing short of amazing. When there are fundraisers the community is always there to donate whatever they have to offer in support. Lower Moreland High School was and still continues to be the best part of my life so far.
