Outstanding in every way -- couldn't be happier, especially with the unexpected transition to online learning. Faculty did an outstanding job making the best of the situation and kept our eighth grader engaged 4-6 hours/day, while our fifth grader at an excellent public school was occupied for maybe an hour/day. Excellent leadership -- new head of school (one year), interim (one year) and new (just starting) heads of upper school, head of middle school, counselors, development staff and others all very impressive and so dedicated to the students and school. Very active parent's association, families and alumni volunteers. Strong athletics, activities and arts programs led by faculty and non-faculty coaches. Food service is included and offers diverse, healthy options. Even custodial staff have been there for decades and engage with students. Wonderful community and learning environment -- both children will be there next year!

A great school with great vision. We recently relocated from the Northeast (NJ) where the schools systems are beyond excellent and we weren't disappointed with the level of academic rigor and teaching excellence at Collegiate. Louisville Collegiate's school culture is extremely warm, fun, and welcoming! Upon visiting during Black History Month (February), my family and I was amazed to see how LCS celebrated Black History Month. LCS was the only private school that we visited that openly celebrated Black History Month. Moreover, the Athletics program at LCS is competitive and it's quickly developing into one of the better programs in the state of Kentucky. The coaches are knowledgeable and they take the time to develop each player as there's a "no-cut" rule for most, if not all LCS sports. Finally, I absolutely love the fact that my kids lunches are included within their tuition and as a LCS parent, I'm able to come and eat free lunches with my kids everyday of the week.
LCS has proven again and again to be the right school for my 5th grader and sophomore. Not only were my expectations met, but they were also exceeded to a large extent! As our Governor closed schools, I was quite apprehensive as to how LCS would pivot to remote learning...and I ended up being amazed at the level of learning being maintained and exceeded. I appreciated the fact that it was more than just learning new topics and concepts, but maintaining the high level of character building that Collegiate is known for. They truly deliver on their 4 cornerstones...Respect, Honor, Compassion, and Responsibility.
I really feel this institution works as a team to help mold my children to become more than just good students, athletes, or club members, but really helps create incredible future citizens.
