Loudoun County High School was a place that I moved to my freshman year. I had just moved from the other side of the world where I had been speaking another language. For me to be able to move from a very far away place and come to a school where I felt included, respected, and noticed was an amazing feeling. As I went throughout my high school years, I understood that it became harder and harder. Thankfully Loudoun County High School provided me with free after school tutoring that I took advantage of in order to increase my overall grade in certain classes. I think that having someone that I could go to in order to understand a topic was the game changer for me. Thankfully, Loudoun County High School left me with a memorable high school experience.
This school is- for the most part- really great! Countless amazing teachers, great counselors, and an outstanding student body. However, the administration itself isn't the most effective and they don't enforce rules as much as they should. When it comes to vaping, dress codes, and skipping classes- these are specific rules that lack enforcement and don't receive punishment.
Loudoun County High School might not be well liked by most of the people who go there, but it is generally a good school. Many of the teachers care about what they are teaching and about their students, although there are certainly bad ones nevertheless. The facilities lag behind other schools in the county but are still rather nice compared to many schools. All in all, its certainly not the best school in the county but it is still pretty good.
