I enjoyed the many programs that Loudoun County HS provides to its students, they have many opportunities that everyone in the community can be part of. Like volunteer opportunities that help out the community, such as giving back to the homeless. There's also tutor opportunities, if you love to help out your fellow classmates, in any course there's one for you.I helped out in math and I enjoyed every second of it, helping them achieve their personal goals gave me so much joy. There's also job shadowing opportunities, were students get to shadow a job of their interest for a day, it gives students an unforgettable experience. It also gives an overview on what they want to pursue in life after high school. Overall I think that Loudoun County HS gives a lot of opportunities for the students to be connected with the community.

I spent the entirety of my high school experience at Loudoun County High School. As a student with disabilities I felt that my school nurse, guidance counselor, teachers, and coaches helped me feel like a "normal" teenager. The support I received helped me finish out my time at Loudoun County with a 4.2 GPA, a varsity athlete with all-regional honors, musical honors, and an acceptance into Virginia Tech. Loudoun County; however, could do more to provide such resources to non-English speakers and could renovate the school's facilities.
I transferred to LCHS purely for its NJROTC program. As a more reserved person I have always found it challenging to become involved in school. NJROTC exceeded by expectations and I have grown in both confidence and leadership. LCHS offers a wide variety of extracurricular programs and clubs that really help students get involved in the school, even if they are reserved such as myself. Along with this, all my teachers and counselors have been very supportive and always there to help and push me to become a more well-rounded student. I will graduating LCHS this year not only involved in NJROTC, but also DECA and the Orienteering Club. My experience as LCHS has been nothing but positive!
