Loudonville Christian School Reviews
Rating 3.97 out of 5 58 reviews
As a parent, choosing LCS was one of the best decisions we ever made with our two kids. They loved their time at LCS with our only regret not starting them there since kindergarten or Pre-K. There are so many positives that I will run out of space in this review. It is a school where the teachers and administration truly care about the students and their families. The academics are strong with an emphasis on challenging the students to think analytically and to truly learn a subject. The students have the opportunity to take college credit classes which has allowed both of our kids to start college academically as sophomores which is a big financial incentive! The Christian worldview teaching matches with our worldview which was a must for any private school for our family. The opportunity to be part of extracurricular activities like sports, clubs, music and drama all contribute to a well rounded student. Many of these activities are only for the top 1% at large schools.
Wonderful experience! I graduated in 2020 after transferring from a public high school, and it was a game changer. My faith grew immensely, and I can only attribute it to the community I was placed in every day. I still hang out with my high school friends, and I am strong in my faith. I'm excelling in college, and I think this goes to show that Loudonville has a great college prep program. Relationships with teachers are great, and I'm so glad to have gone there. One quip I have is that the music program is lacking a little
Loudonville Christian School has been an excellent experience for me. Here, I have not only been challenged academically with classes that improve my critical thinking and world view, but I have grown in an emotional, relational, and spiritual sense. The school strives for the holistic growth of its students, and I have in fact grown holistically. I have also enjoyed the community here, and have fostered meaningful connections with peers and teachers. Overall, Loudonville has not only helped me grow as a student, but as a whole person who stives to learn and better the world.
