Los Fresnos United Ninth Grade Campus Reviews

As a student who was transferred from another school district, this campus allowed for an easy transition and I was able to adapt to the place very easily. The school, and district, was able to accommodate me as I was ahead in high school credits I earned in middle school, like Biology, English 1 and Geometry. My counselor helped with my unique schedule and explained my potential academic path all the way to senior year, to help me feel more at ease. It is an organized campus, who values discipline, community and college education. Because of the focus of discipline and academics, and that it is a split campus, it may feel very constricting and we are not getting a full experience. Therefore, one change I would like to see are more activities, like festivals, fundraisers, fun activities, to one: raise funds for the school and its clubs, and two: develop a more entertaining high school experience in the midst of rigorous coursework. It also won't hurt to loosen up the dress code a bit.

It's a great school with great teachers, but it could have better food for lunch. The administration could also be a little less strict with the dress code mainly with the boys hair
