The teachers are very nice there and I overall had an amazing high school experience at Lord Botetourt. The school itself is a little rough, but other than that it's a great school!

My experience at Lord Botetourt has been somewhat poor to average. While academics are important to me, I feel as if teachers care less than students about their futures. I have not had good luck with the math department at Lord Botetourt because some teachers are not qualified to teach the upper-level courses offered. The guidance department is very inefficient and often does not complete tasks on time. In regards to college transcripts, many students have complained their transcripts have been sent late or not sent at all. The school building is very dirty and hazardous because there is mold and the roof is caving in. In general, I would not recommend Lord Botetourt to those who are moving into the area.
I think Lord Botetourt high school could do a lot better if they put in the effort to better our school, this includes students, parents, administration, and teachers. They put in a minimal amount of everything. They never really talk about bullying once you get here and they don give the correct consequences in my opinion.
Lord Botetourt high school could be a great school with or without money if people try to make it better and not just the bare minimum.
