Loranger High School is a place that I am proud to call my own. My peers and I can receive a one-on-one education without the hesitation of rude staff or poor resources. There is a variety of hands-on activities that make the learning environment fun, and the teachers and faculty make sure that ALL students are involved. Being located in a small town, I was unsure if I were going to receive the best overall experience due to my career choice, but Loranger High greatly exceeded my expectations. The school has a large selection of career based classes, ranging from engineering to nursing courses. There are also a large amount of clubs, sports, events, and organizations that Loranger High provides for students and their families to take part in. I have had no disappointments in the four years of being enrolled here. Loranger High School is a safe place to learn and have fun, while also maintaining a memorable high school experience. Loranger High has great academics, as far as the honors classes go. I wish they had more to offer, like other sports or medical programs. I feel like we are very limited on everything. Staff is great! The school itself could use some remodeling and cleaning up.
It is a small school with a lot of community Involvement. The school population is growing and we have several portable buildings and older buildings, which could use some improvement, but we use what is available to us now. The teachers and administration really care about their students and it shows. Our school is unique because the elementary, middle and high school and all next to each other and all 3 schools ride the same buses.
