    Welcome to Longfields Elementary School, home of the Leopards! We are thrilled to have your family consider becoming part of our school family!

    Longfields Elementary is a Community School and a Maryland Green School. With less than 300 students, our school is a close-knit family-oriented community. We provide monthly opportunities for students to apply classroom lessons in engaging ways such as field trips and math & reading nights. School hours are from 7:45 a.m. to 1:55 p.m.

    We are a PBIS school focusing on positive behavior through LEAP (leadership, engagement, accountability, and positivity).

    Some of the unique opportunities and programs available at our school include the following:
