Long Beach High School is a wonderful school for academics and also supports the arts through choir, band, and theatre. I love the choir at Long Beach. The facilities of the school are a little rundown but at the end of the year they are beginning reconstruction of the school to make it more upscale and safe!

I, as well as most in my class, had a great time at LBHS. It appears the school has changed since I have graduated. I know I was proud, as well as my peers, to have went to Long Beach. We were honestly held to a higher standard than the rest of the students at other high schools my friends attended on the coast. If there is one thing I could change it would be the building. The school was built in the 1950's if I'm not mistaken. If the school were to be updated it would be a big morale boost for students and teachers. There may need to be a few more clubs, but the sports programs are great. The football team has its years, but that's at every school. Overall, great teachers, admin and school! I'll always bleed maroon and white!
Long Beach High School is an interesting school for the people, but not always in a good way. It is an old school, with a dew dozen dangers as many older school designs have. Lockers are not given out, and senior quotes are not allowed. Senior pranks are also not allowed, and you can be arrested for doing an innocent prank. It is similar to many other high schools, a roller-coaster of emotions, hormones, and work.
