I enjoy going to Lodi High School. This year we had an insane amount of fire alarms that went off for various reasons that was an annoying interruption to class, but that was my maim problem with the school this year. Many of the teachers I had were very kind, funny, and helpful, which allowed me to thrive in my learning space. This year we were able to fully enjoy the new building, which was very nice and updated in technology. Although I am not a morning person, I find the schedule doable with school starting at 8:30 and ending at 3:20. I play two sports and I feel like sometimes the homework can be a bit overwhelming, but I am an honors student so it kinda makes sense. To conclude, in my two years at the school I have really only faced few challenges, and had amazing teachers that helped me excel.
I started attending Lodi High School as a Junior, and made friends immediately. You can make friends with anyone, but you should choose your friends wisely. I LOVE all of the staff and am so glad I won the position of Associated Student Body President. I love talking with random kids I don’t know, because they always open up when you show that you’re invested in a true conversation with them. It’s a joy to see students light up and become happier with COVID ending and us all being in school together. The faculty are fun, care for their students education, and make a difference in their student’s lives. I wish to see how certain kids act towards each other, themselves, and their teachers change. There have been a lot of fire drills because of vaping in our bathrooms. We do have an app, posters, and reminders on school items for safety and mental health related things. I’m glad I got the opportunity to come to Lodi High and meet all of the impactful people I now have in my life :)
I would say Lodi High's greatest qualities are having diligent staff, mostly. Many of my teachers have been supportive throughout my academic journey and offered me aid when necessary. However, one of my siblings has had teachers who were not helpful throughout his time at the school. The culture at Lodi High can also be quite hateful, which can make focusing difficult.
