My children had a excellent experience throughout the elementary grades at Lisbon Regional. They were both challenged and supported.

It's a small corrupt town, so you can't just enjoy the landscape (walking, mountains etc.), it's like you have to blend in/belong or they'll gang up against you. The students and teachers can be catty if they sense you don't really care about the town or school, they'll blame it back onto you. There's high property taxes too at the time of writing this. Once a kid wouldn't give me my calculator back and the teacher was too lazy to do anything about it. I taught myself guitar in guitar class, the teacher just sat there in the distance. It was always me against the whole class, from day one in fourth grade, and then the teachers started to side with the town kids. I have bad memories here, and always will. Glad I can afford to move (if I couldn't, I'd still make sure I could eventually).
