I graduated in 1982. Lincoln has had TWO grads on Forbes' list of most powerful women in business - an unprecedented feat! It's a small school that creates big shoes in every industry, from business to medicine to journalism to rocket science. The girls learn from amazing teachers and a superstar school head (Suzanne Fogarty) who is making a name nationally for the innovative curriculum and critical thinking (not rote memorization required for antiquated AP's).

There's global programs (you'll get to travel to India or Cuba) and partnerships with Brown, RISD and Save the Bay. You'll also be on beautiful campuses (note the athletic fields are lined ONLY for girls' sports). You'll gain confidence no matter what path you pursue. You'll see that Lincoln girls stand up for themselves and don't demur or defer. Best of all, you gain access to Alums that help with careers, networking and internships. It's a true sisterhood. Who wouldn't want to be part of that?

I honestly feel blessed that my 2 daughters have the opportunity to attend Lincoln School. Our investment in their education is absolutely worth every penny and sacrifice. They are excited to go to school each day, which was never the case at their previous school. Both girls are very different learners and have different strengths and challenges, and in their small classes each of their teachers have gotten to know them so well to be able to motivate and individualize their learning. The combination of all-girls and Quaker environment and community is amazing- my girls are finding their voices and building their confidence, all the while having a focus places on equality and respect and integrity. I can't say enough about the responsiveness and support of the teachers as well as the welcoming, inclusive parent community. Such an incredible school!
I attended Lincoln School from the age 3 to 18 and a thought never crossed my mind to switch schools. I loved my experience at Lincoln. I met many friends and faculty members who I am certain will be my friends for many years after I graduated. All the teachers are very approachable and do their best to help you suceed in every aspect. I was a minority at Lincoln among a small portion of other minorites but over my years at Lincoln I watched more and more minorites attend Lincoln. I always felt safe, welcomed, and part of the community. During my senior year, Lincoln and their college consulling team were very helpful in helping me pick a college that was the perfect fit for me. I now go to a private college, which is very similar to Lincoln. I couldn’t have had a better experience there!
