Since my start at LPPACS in the eighth grade, the school has been outstanding. A wide variety of uniquely talented teachers are ready to always help students within each unique department of study, as well as three gorgeous buildings within the vicinity; all guarded by an excellent staff of security guards. The food is exceptional; a certain meal varying every day a week with hot sandwiches, chips, and a salad bar available every day-- as well as a make-your-own-sandwich stand run by the excellent lunch staff. Classes are unique, with excellent academics as well as classes dedicated to each specific major (intro to drawing, screenwriting, anatomy, dance, theater, etc.), that act as excellent bridges to help students readily prepare for their future college careers. The school is an excellent start to those aspiring for the best they can possibly achieve for the brightest future possible.
Review Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School
I love it immensely, and I'll be heartbroken when it comes time for me to graduate. Being around such creative individuals is the best part for me. Everyone one is creating something and working towards a common goal. They all want to further their passions. I find that so inspirational; it makes me want to be the best writer that I am capable of being.

The Literary Arts program there is just so amazing and the program’s teachers are too. Their classes are never boring, and they are great writers themselves. Due to their professional instruction, my writing is noticeably better than it was before I entered this school. I feel like I came to the best high-school-level place for learning how to write.
This is a great school--I'm only sorry that we waited so long to send our kid there! Our experience has been that the teachers are excellent, but the administration needs to be vigilant about this. For my student, this last year has been marred by a shockingly ineffective and unqualified teacher who has been protected by a more senior faculty member who discredits the students and their complaints. This has been very disappointing, but over all, it's a great school--they just need to pay attention to nepotism and preferential treatment of certain faculty members who are clearly unqualified.
