Greatly enjoyed my time at Lincoln Lutheran! It’s a tight-knit community where students and parents support one another. Teachers hold high expectations for students and challenge them in the classroom. Felt more than prepared for college after attending LL. Highly recommend Lincoln Lutheran for families seeking a high-quality, Christ-centered education.
Lincoln Lutheran is a very good school in regards to preparing you for college, you will be challenged to work hard for what you earn. That being said, be aware that this is not a very diverse school and that sports are the most valued over other activities. I was definitely prepared to handle a college load of classes, but the community is somewhat lacking due to a huge focus on athletics and low diversity level. As someone who put their all into the creative arts, it was hard not having the support that students had in sports, but it is doable and rewarding. Overall, I found my time at this school to be worth it in regards to college prep, but less helpful in preparing me for the real world in the long run.
I love how Lincoln Lutheran offers a Christ centered atmosphere where teachers encourage students to grow both spiritually and academically. The teachers posses great knowledge of their subject area and prepare every student for college making the transition seamless. Being at Lincoln Lutheran you are surrounded by teachers and students that care about you and strive to help you grow. They also provide a wide variety of clubs and activities for students to participate in along with dual credit to make college life a little less busy and expensive. At Lincoln Lutheran I feel comfortable sharing my views and opinions because I know my teachers will hear me and answer any questions I may encounter. It has been great being in a smaller school as you know who everybody is and the small class sizes' allows students to ask questions and grow closer to the teacher and fellow peers.
