Lincoln High School is like any other little town school, you’re close to everything around you and everyone eventually gets to know you. The teachers within the school are fabulous and always spend their time trying to help you and better your chances with each year moving forward. Some say the school is too small or we don’t have enough people to fulfill any clubs or a few sports, but we still find ways to make them great even with the people we have. The whole building is connected to one another as you have the gym and music side of the building connected to the rest of the classrooms and cafeteria in the main building which is great with our travel around the school. Our school also offers a pathway across our bridge which is elevated off the ground to quickly get from the top floors to the other building which offers a unique route that not many schools have. Overall our school is great and I look forward to seeing how you feel about Lincoln!
I loved the music program at Lincoln High; the directors are phenomenal and they produce the best musicals and band shows in the area. The teachers are largely great, with a few minor exceptions. They help you grow into your own person while making sure you are academically challenged. The only bad thing is our football team... they are terrible. All of our other sports are really great!
Truly, I would like to see this school split the seventh and eighth grade into it's own building because it gets overly crowded. Most of the teachers I have had have been absolutely wonderful in and out of the classroom, and even on the court since some of the teachers were coaches. They are so encouraging and eager to help. (unfortunately there are only a couple teachers I would not quite use this description with, however the majority of my current and former teachers, I would).
