I just graduated from Lincoln and all i can say is this schools is amazing! If it wasn't for Lincoln I wouldn't have been given so many opportunities. Thanks to Lincoln I received an internship. I also found my love for teaching through their programs. I will always be a Lincoln Lancer and I am incredibly proud to be that.

Lincoln High School has changed drastically in the 4 years I have been here. It went from a school with a notoriously bad reputation to being one of the best schools in Yonkers! We have teachers that go above and beyond to help us students and faculty that goes out of their way for us! I recommend anyone who is about to go into high school in Yonkers that they go to this school.
Lincoln High School is not the best school for your child. The education that I received here was subpar. Rarely, you will find teachers who actually care for your child.

But I can positively say that not all of the teachers will waste your child’s talents. There are maybe four or five teachers that I had who inspired me to learn and take advantage of resources outside of the school, which have been very useful in increasing my level of college readiness.

So, take a chance on this school only if you must, but just let your child know that with any opportunity that they receive—whether it’s high or low quality—they need to work hard to prove themselves. Lincoln High School will not challenge your child much, but they can always challenge themselves to learn beyond classroom material and make themselves stand out on college applications.
