I’m a Senior there right now. The environment is extremely wonderful! Everyone there is so amazing! The staff and teachers are also amazing! If you make time with the teachers then the teachers will take time with you. I really love that about Lincoln teachers. They will give students 1 on 1 and talk about lessons that the student having troubles on. One of my favorite memories about Lincoln is in my freshman year I was lost. The school was just so big! Someone came up to me and asked me “This your first year?” I told her yes and then she showed me around and showed me my classes! I really thank her for that! If it wasn’t for her I would’ve been stuck in the halls. Around Lincoln is clean! Classroom cleaned! Bathroom are also cleaned! I really love Lincoln. Lincoln High School is the best High Schools to attend and Leon County Schools!

If you're an athletic person who loves to take part in sports, this is probably the best school in Tallahassee for you. If you don't, however, you'll find that your hobbies aren't funded nearly as adequately and your needs won't be met. One year they spent all of the school's funds on new uniforms for the football team and caused a shortage of soap and paper towels in every bathroom of the school for months. Kids were bringing in their own wipes top wash their hands properly.
Advising also failed to let me know I didn't have enough math credits for Bright Futures until the week before graduation. They seem so overloaded with students that they don't properly review any of them.
I love all of the opportunities I have for success with all the AP and dual enrollment options! I also love how Lincoln has so many clubs I can join! One club that I’m in is FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and I really like how Lincoln allows us to be a club and talk about life and God while at school! However, sometimes I feel pressured to take a lot of challenging classes at once, making me feel bad, or not as good as many other students, when I choose classes that won’t stress me out as much. On a more positive note, most of my teachers that I have had in my high school career have been outstanding! If I could choose to go back and do high school again, I probably wouldn’t just because I’m ready to move on with my life. Overall, Lincoln is a terrific school and I feel blessed to be able to attend it!
