East High is anything and everything, except a bad high school! Friendly faces, great staff, and great academics all encompass the swell experience that is Lincoln East. Multiple benefits of East high include a great span of activities, great athletics, and academic benefits like academic hour, an hour long period after school in which students can get homework help from teachers and other students. My primary concern would be with the student mentality. Most experiences my peers rarely involve academic significance. I simply wish there were extra programs, or at least extra advertising of, academics, or new ways to develop talents, or someway to motivate students to lead to a brighter academic future.

I went to Lincoln East High School for the entirety of my high school career. It was a wonderful place to grow and learn about my interests, all the while being supported by smart, savvy and personable teachers. I really found my home in the music department and I wouldn't change anything about those years because they helped me discover what I love to do. I am excited to see my family members have a wonderful experience there as well, and I would recommend that newcomer's to Lincoln, Nebraska look into attending this school or sending their children there! Go Spartans!
I loved my time at East! Excellent academics, I´m currently taking essentially a full college schedule through AP and feel as if I will be very prepared for the rigor of college. Teachers are friendly and want you to succeed, there is a vast range of great programs to get involved in, and I met some fantastic people there. Everyone has a place at East.
