Lighthouse Baptist Academy Reviews

I went all the way through Lighthouse Baptist Academy from K-5 to 12th grade, I was with them when they moved buildings and remodeled, and I have seen the good and the bad. Overall, it is a great school! The teachers love the students, the administrators want the best for the kids, and your always reminded of God’s love and guidance.
When I graduated in 2019, they were already planning on expanding and adding new things. That is the one issue that I would have to address, there are not lots of consistency with new projects or extra curricular activities. You may have an art class for a year, but they do enjoy sports a bit more than the arts.
But as I said they are expanding. When I left, the band was planning to do more concerts and a band trip! After thirteen years, I’d say that Lighthouse Baptist Academy gave me the best education and experience they could give.

This is the cheapest private school in the area, but it's too expensive for most people because you have to pay tuition plus at least $50 everytime the school has a fundraiser. The only reason the kitchen scored a 95% from the health department is someone tips off the school so the staff kids can scrub the kitchen for hours the night before, but
honestly 80% of the food they serve is extremly greasy, burnt, or both. If you don't like volleyball or music then you basically can't do any extra curricular activities as a girl, and if you're a boy you're only offered basketball, flag football, or something to do with music. Most teachers don't have time to help so you better understand what goes on during class because there is no hope otherwise. If you're not super religious, a trouble maker, or speak Spanish then you'll basically be a loner 90% of the time.
This school is over all a amazing school. They have teachers that love and care about your grades they support your every move in life and they will be honest with you if it's a bad move they will tell you. The sports or ec. Are really good they are not very difficult but they give everyone a opportunity to have a chance at playing football. But the main thing I like about this school is the teachers hearts for the Lord. The lord is there guidance for teaching the students and causes the students great success
