My experience at Libertyville High School has been a very open and exciting one. I came into Libertyville as a new kid my freshman and was very nervous about it. However, my counselor and teachers really made it easy for me to get comfortable with the school! the other students definitely helped me learn the school and get used to it as well. I’ve made a lot of friends and I got involved in numerous clubs and orgs. I overall think it has been a great experience at Libertyville High School!

I recently graduated from Libertyville High School, and looking back I think I can safely say I lucked out in terms of schools. The classes are certainly rigorous and the teachers can sometimes demand a lot, but it pushes students to become better. In college, there are times when I feel rather underwhelmed with the workload and the difficulty of the work, because of the sheer contrast between the demand at Libertyville and the demand in college. Overall, this school does a great job preparing students for college, and does a great job at keeping everyone therein safe and sound during the school day.
I really like the clubs that Libertyville High School offers. For example, I am in a club called Top Cats in which every Wednesday, I go to an at risk elementary school in Waukegan to tutor and mentor kids. The whole experience has been amazing because every week when I come, the kids always run up to me and give me a huge hug! Additionally, I am the Vice President of Best Buddies and am part of the Water Polo team.
