Liberty North High School is an excellent high school in Liberty, MO. Especially having transferred from a lower quality high school in a different district, I appreciate the quality of education, the welcoming environment, the effort the administration put in to make the school a safe and rewarding place for students and staff, and most of all, the teachers. Liberty North is very lucky to have amazing teachers in every department. Every year I have had teachers who make their classes fun, who are obviously excited about what they do, and who make it clear that they personally care about each and every one of their students. My parents came to an open house night and said that the teachers’ attitudes made them want to go back to high school.

While attending Liberty North High School, I appreciated how friendly all the students were, especially when I did stupid stuff or had no idea what was going on. I was friends with most of my teachers--in fact, I can't remember having a single one I didn't like.
One thing that could be improved about this school is simply their planning. When the school was initially built, it had two fantastic gyms and televisions in the lunchroom, but the lunchroom was not nearly big enough to accommodate the number of students, which has only grown, though the lunchroom has not. Additionally, there were not enough classrooms and many teachers were placed in trailers surrounding the school. I think that if my school was less concerned about the quality of what they had and more concerned about having everything they needed for all of their students, the students would be much happier and the school would run more smoothly.
I am a very artsy music oriented person. I was very fortunate to be in a school district where the arts are highly funded and valued. My choir got to go on a trip to New York in a world wide competition, where we received 2 golds and 1 silver rating from a panel of judges. Not only was the arts program amazing, we are all given the opportunity to excel academically, math has always been a great subject for me and I will graduating this year from Calculus AB. There are lots of AP classes to choose from, basically the world is your oyster here, which is what every student needs to better themselves for their future college life.
