Liberty High School Reviews
Rating 3.15 out of 5 79 reviews
Very underfunded and understaffed school. Very little to no amount of sports, extracurricular, and clubs. There is no gymnasium. There's only one guidance counselor who is always too 'busy' to help. Nothing is confidential in this school, as everyone there(both teachers & students) is too bored and ready to gossip- and it goes fast in a school so small. If a teacher is bothering you, tough luck, since it's understaffed and you're likely to take the teacher again. It's only good academic wise, but you will not come out as a well rounded student who is ready for a 4-year college. If you want small learning communities (SLC) to learn about different majors and careers, avoid this school since there's no SLC or any sorts of career fairs to connect and learn from people with different careers. I wish this school was always online or at least hybrid the way it was during Covid, since there's little to look forward to in this school.
It’s a good school academically, the teachers are friendly, the numbers of students is small but everyone knows each-other and gets along well. The school pursues their academics more than anything so students are very well educated and have outstanding grades
I never witnessed a fight in this school. It's very comfortable and you don't get dizzy by the number of students since we all know this is a very small place. Depend on your preferences you should either love or hate the fact that this school is not as big as others. You get to know everyone in your grade, and that's something great if you like social interaction. Don't worry, if you are antisocial like me, you will also fit into this environment. Quiet, comfortable... Am I the only one who dislike big classroom with more than 30 students? Well, Liberty does not have that. Teachers DO NOT have preferences in students. If they call your attention is because you were doing something wrong. Do not complain!
The school work is precisely enough and great to learn what is needed. We have around 6 clubs going on right now. The teachers are extremely nice. It's true that we don't have as much financial support as other schools, but I always see the staff trying to attend our concerns.
