Liberty High School Reviews
Rating 3.74 out of 5 461 reviews
Liberty High school is the largest school in the state of Nevada. Because of this as well as its location there is a lot diversity and inclusivity at this school. For example some of the ethnic backgrounds found at this school are as follows , African, Black, White, Korean, Japanese, Mexican, and many others. There are also a large number of different religions from Christian, to Muslim, as well as Morman and Jewish. This allows for students to learn about other cultures in many different ways such as sports and just simple in class activities. In addition to this the teachers here are great with many of them willing to help after school or during their personal time are home to make sure students understand and can re iterate material. This is very positive because they can also provide many resources to the student for any number of topics. Not only are the teachers great the sports are too with an exceptional football program and recent state championship basketball team.
I loved the diversity at Liberty! The school truly had a sense of community and welcoming. Each club, organization, and sport at the school was inclusive and greatly contributed to the school. Teachers truly care about their students and their futures. The administration work to provide each student with opportunities every day to learn and grow. I could not have asked for a better high school experience.
I think Liberty High School is great! It's a big school with great sports opportunities. Specifically, the football program is one of the top in the nation. The coaches are amazing. For the most part, the teachers are nice. The school population is very diverse too. The school offers Latin, which is very unusual these days. There is a really nice weight room and next year there will be a CrossFit class. There are a lot of clubs, I'm not in clubs, but some of my friends are. The student council does a lot of activities on campus that promote school spirit. Peer tutoring is offered four days a week after school, which is really nice. I feel that the coaches really take an interest in their players; academically, healthwise, mentally, and personally. The football team usually goes on a big trip yearly. In the fall of 2019, the team went to Hawaii. The football team also won state this year. The principal is awesome, I see him daily on campus, he really seems to care about kids and safety
