The teachers at Liberty High School are very engaging and try to incorporate the same style of teaching into their lessons as the other teachers in their subject. They also provide help when students are struggling with the lessons. They really go out of their way to help a student succeed! They are also willing to slow down for a student to understand. They are very good at their job and I'm glad that I was a student at Liberty for this reason.
Review Liberty High School
I truly appreciated the teachers and staff at Liberty. Almost all of them are willing to sit down and talk about school as well as students personal lives. Also, I love all the clubs and seeing how each one provides a feeling of belonging to every type of person. My hopes for Liberty is that they bring more guest speakers to visit. I always enjoyed them and felt it was a good way to bring everyone together in the gymnasium to be inspired and motivated. I would also like to see less fights on campus, I am not sure if this can be taken upon the school, but I hope it changes.
Liberty High School is known for working with the community because of its sports and clubs. There is a large variety of clubs to fit the needs of the students. A lot of clubs such as Best Buddies and S-Club have a meeting everyday during lunch; these clubs require full commitment because they also require work outside of school. For example, in S-Club, I volunteered at a local Pumpkin Patch event and it was probably one of the best nights of my life. Other clubs, such as Math Club, attend fun field trips to colleges around Northern California. Earlier this year, we toured Stanford! Math Club, along with most clubs on campus, only meet weekly or biweekly. The commitment of each club differs, but they all have one thing in common: fundraisers. Each club, especially National Honor Society, require you to participate in the fundraiser. I participate in all fundraisers, even for sports, but it does get difficult because they ask too much. Brentwood, in the north, is on the smaller side. The sports in Liberty High are one of the best. The term "best" can be applied to the quality of the team's play and the team itself. Each team is like a family and that truly makes the sport more fun on its own. The Track and Fields team has been extremely supportive and helpful; they welcome newcomers and help anyone who asks.
