I love the sense of community within Liberty HS. Everyone knows everyone there and it makes for a welcoming environment! Even if you're a new student, it's easy to fit right in from the get go. When it comes to learning, the staff and coaches are dedicated to making their students/athletes improve throughout the year which provides a challenging yet not too straining curriculum/season.
Liberty provides numerous opportunities for personalized learning by letting students construct a schedule that suits them. There are many electives to be chosen from as well as different opportunities to kickstart your life after high school, such as governor's school, duel enrollment, etc. LHS also provides great clubs and activities to get involved in if you aren't into sports.
The main thing I would like to see change at Liberty is the school spirit. In my opinion, the students, parents, and staff could all help. Whether it be longer pep rallies, or being able to have a spirit bus for away games!

In the town I live in the schools is what keeps the community going. Everyone comes out and shows support for the sports teams. There is so much love and support from people because they care. The teachers are such a big part of the school, they love the students they work with, teach with passion. One thing that I appreciate is the diversity of Liberty, people with so many different back grounds, religions, race are at our school and I believe that's what truly makes the school go round. I would change the way that people see our school. In the county I go to school in, we're known as the "black sheep" because we have less money and aren't as goof at sports than other schools in our county. One things for certain is that we have such a big heart for our school, I love it because it's small and everyone knows each other or knows of one another. Our motto at Liberty is "Minutemen Succeed, No Exceptions," we don't back down and we never give up because we are a school with pride.
Awkwardly starting my sophomore year at Liberty High School I was a bit nervous however the students were very welcoming and kind and the teachers are always ready to help. Teachers always made an extra effort by coming to school early or staying after to help students when needed. They pushed us to do our best and minutemen succeed no exceptions!
