LASA is a great school with teachers that are qualified to teach their subjects and love to teach it. Students are supportive of each other and there are many tutoring services to help those who need it. College is a very stressful time for juniors and seniors, but the college advising at LASA is reassuring in the long process. There are downsides like resources at LASA due to funding and the old building, but donations are always welcomed! Overall, LASA allows students to get a well-rounded education with the experience of a normal high school.

Takes adjusting to but if you really take advantage of all LASA has to offer you're going to have a really fantastic time. There are literal geniuses that attend this school and its a really wonderful academic environment, although there is admittedly quite a bit of competition. Sometimes it's really tough to remain on top of school work and extra-curriculars but I recommend you take it as a challenge but too still not bite off more than you can chew. I seriously love the environment, again, and how it encourages all it's students to achieve and love learning. Some of the people here, though, are not extremely friendly and don't really seem to want to make new friends because most come in with their friends from their middle school. Basically, some people are standoffish and not very friendly. But kids here do amazing things!!!
I have so enjoyed my time at LASA so far. The educatio nand academics offered are stellar, as well as the school environment and teacher-student relationship. Clubs and communities are very welcoming and close-knit, and I wouldn't want to go to school anywhere else!
