Liahona Preparatory Academy Reviews
Rating 4.78 out of 5 23 reviews
Liahona Preparatory Academy is a one of a kind community. When you are here, rigorous courses combine with teachers who are both supportive and informative, making a well oiled machine that teaches youth how to grow to be the best that they possibly can. The school offers up stellar academics and extracurriculars, helping students become as accomplished and versatile as they desire. During my time at this revered establishment, I was taught the fundamentals that every student must learn, but I also was taught the importance of integrity, effort, and resilience. I gained both secular and spiritual knowledge. All in all, Liahona teaches every person who enters its doors how to think for themselves, learn and grow on their own, and be exceptional.
The school is a religious academy which can be a blessing for some and an issue for others. The staff is very caring, it is expensive.
I was part of the Distance Education program with Liahona. The teachers are caring and inclusive of the students on the other side of the camera. Activities were inclusive of everyone in the classroom. There is an uplifting environment where learning and growth are encouraged and discussed. Throughout my learning process, I was encouraged to adopt the skills necessary for my time in college and the workforce. My teachers encouraged me to use my talents and to connect to other distance education learners. I was able to make great friends. A change I wish the school would apply is providing activities for students to connect outside of classes and the annual youth conference.
