Teacher quality needs improvement. Turnover is high. Special education/resources are ill equipped. Teachers are undereducated about IDEA requirements. Curriculum used for reading remediation is ineffective and not research based. Regular classroom teachers don’t follow IEP requirements.

Well we have a teacher that does not do what there soposed to do and another one like it she lost my paper and gave me a zero for it and now i have a bad grade for it.
30 students per class. System is broken and student behavior isnt dealt with. Focus is not on education, rather the concern is on decorating the school and using the students to do a lot of the decorating instead of in the classroom. The counselor is a joke to the profession. Teachers' morale is low due to last minute expectations and increasing paperwork. Food is mostly from cans and just heated. Very little is nutritional. It may be low fat, but its all high sugar and tastes like cheap processed food. Overall, I wouldn't let my kids go there if I had kids.
